In the ever-evolving landscape of life, projects can quickly become relics of the past if left untouched for too long. As someone who’s passionate about both technology and creativity, I’ve recently found myself drawn back to two old websites that have been gathering digital dust.
Mindfulnesshandbook.com: A Resurrection Beckons
For a while, these websites lay dormant as I juggled various commitments – from a fast-paced and ever-changing career in tech, most recently at Yahoo to diving deep into my MSc in Software Design with Cloud-Native Computing at TUS, to navigating the turbulent waters of job hunting in an uncertain and fluctuating market, all while trying to maintain a sense of balance with my family life and still keeping time for the other things in life that bring me joy. With so much on my plate, it’s no wonder that updating old websites fell by the wayside.
However, something shifted recently. A spark was ignited within me when I embarked on a new creative endeavor: the ADHDerpCast podcast. Exploring topics related to ADHD with a blend of humor, insight, and stories of personal experiences, the podcast reignited my creative fire and reminded me of the joy of sharing ideas and experiences with others.
As I delved into the world of podcasting, I couldn’t help but feel inspired to breathe new life into my neglected projects. Mindfulnesshandbook.com, once a grand idea to be a centralized repository of resources and insights on mindfulness and well-being, is ripe for a revival. With the current global climate placing a premium on mental health and self-care, I see an opportunity to reinvigorate the website with fresh content, practical tips, and perhaps even interactive features to engage visitors in their mindfulness journey. Plus, with my newfound love of audio production, I’m now in a position to create my own high-quality guided audio, the first of which was posted this week!
Harvlace.com: A Digital Portfolio Reimagined
Similarly, harvlace.com, my personal website that never really became anything, was long overdue for a makeover. As a platform to showcase my projects, passions, and professional pursuits, it’s time to dust off the cobwebs and update it with the latest chapters of my journey. From my academic endeavors to my podcasting adventures and everything in between, I envision harvlace.com as a digital portfolio that reflects the multifaceted aspects of my life.
So, here’s to breathing new life into old domains, and bridging the gap between the past and the present. As I navigate the intricate dance of creativity, technology, and self-expression, I invite you to join me on this revitalization journey. Let’s turn forgotten URLs into vibrant spaces once more, where ideas flourish, connections thrive, and the digital echoes of our passions resonate across the ever-expanding web.
